* The Road and Motorway Directorate of the Czech Rebublic announce that the law firm Advokátní kancelář Němec, Bláha & Navrátilová, s. r. o., registered office Prvního pluku 206/7, 186 00 Prague 8 – Karlín, Czech Republic, has been given power of attorney to administer and collect toll debts. The law firm is therefore entitled to call on vehicle operators (in the name of the Road and Motorway Directorate) to settle their toll debts.

Basics
The toll is applied to all motor vehicles with gross vehicle weight over 3.5 tons.
The toll is collected by the the electronic system:
the on-board unit installed in the vehicle communicates with toll gantries.
The toll is due for driving on:
- highways and motorways;
- sign-marked sections of 1st class roads.
Motor vehicles with gross vehicle weight up to 3.5 tons (regardless of the weight of their trailers) are using vignettes (stickers valid for specific time period).
Toll System
To be able to pay toll, each vehicle over 3.5 tons must be equipped with an onboard tolling unit, which is not transferable to other vehicles.
The toll amount for each segment of highway is deducted when the vehicle is assing passing under the toll gantry. Toll rates of any segment depend on roadway class, section length, day of the week, number of vehicle axles and vehicle emission category.
